Issues and Emergency Line
If you have a concern about the refinery's operational or environmental performance, or a question relating to an emergency situation, please call 1800 651 818.
This line operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. An experienced operator will either answer your question, or record your query and ensure it is followed up.
If your call is in relation to a current concern (eg: a noise or smell) a refinery representative will be sent out to investigate. Complaints associated with environmental issues are reported to the EPA.
If you have questions or queries that are not associated with current refinery operations, you will be asked to put these in writing.
If an event occurs and you need to act, emergency services will broadcast on ABC radio 774 AM and local radio stations.
Community members do not need to take action if there are no messages on 774AM or local radio stations.
