Overview

Viva Energy commenced environmental remediation of the western area of the Clyde Terminal to ensure it meets current standards for commercial/industrial land use.

Viva Energy received development consent from the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) in early May 2020 to undertake these works.

Environment

Environmental Impact Statement

The Development Application to undertake the Western Area Remediation Project was accompanied by an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Consultation with the community, State and local government and regulators was undertaken during development of the EIS.

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is a comprehensive document required as part of the development approvals process, to address potential impacts of the Project.

Remediation Action Plan
