Viva Energy Australia Pty Ltd (“Viva Energy”), the exclusive licencee to the Shell brand in Australia, today announced a new partnership with Melbourne-based Technical and Further Education provider, the Kangan Institute.
The partnership will see Viva Energy offer Kangan apprentices unparalleled access to technical experts in automotive lubrication, development opportunities through formal training in the use of world-class products, access to Shell Global Expert forums and the Shell V-Power Supercars Team, and ongoing technical assistance through a Docklands-based team.
As one of Australia’s leading energy companies in Australia and through its licensee arrangement with Shell, Viva Energy has the benefit of more than 100 years of technical experience and expertise in delivering market-leading Shell branded lubricants to consumers.
The partnership will provide Viva Energy with access to Kangan Insitute’s industry leading facilities at the Automotive Centre of Excellence, including their world class heavy duty diesel dyno facility to test and prove lubricant solutions that deliver savings to customers in the real world.
The “Shell Rimula Apprentice of the Year” program will also be introduced as part of the partnership.
Viva Energy’s Chief Executive Officer, Scott Wyatt said he was delighted to partner with the Kangan Institute to help train the next generation of Australian automotive and heavy duty diesel technicians.
