Viva Energy Australia’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages are designed to be a safe space for conversation about our business and topics of interest. We encourage discussion that is respectful, relevant and meaningful. 

In order to create a positive and engaging environment for users of Viva Energy Australia’s social media accounts, we ask all users to treat each other with respect. In line with our code of conduct and expected behaviours we will not tolerate insults, threats, or discriminatory or offensive comments. 

Viva Energy reserves its right to moderate or remove – to the full extent that each respective social media platform allows – any posts or comments that are:

  • offensive, obscene, sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate;
  • threatening, abusive, insulting, defamatory or libellous, or which vilify or discriminate against any particular gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age or disability; 
  • false, inaccurate or misleading in any way, or which impersonate or falsely represent another person;
  • off-topic or which are for personal, political or commercial gain, including sales solicitations.

We also reserve the right to block or ban any user from our pages in our absolute discretion without prior notice. 

By using or accessing Viva Energy’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages, you also agree to comply with that social media platform’s own terms and conditions.

In addition, Viva Energy may republish a user’s posts or comments, e.g. via “sharing” or “retweeting”.
