The Gore Bay Terminal has been operating as a fuel import and storage facility since 1901. The Terminal continues to be a critical part of the fuel supply chain in New South Wales. The Gore Bay Terminal is also placed to provide an important contribution Sydney Harbour, a prosperous working harbour, through its supply of fuels to the cruise and maritime industries.
Over the century of operations at Gore Bay, we have continuously improved processes and systems to ensure safe operations while minimising potential impacts on the environment and the surrounding community.
Fuel products imported into Gore Bay Terminal include Diesel, Marine Fuel Oil, Jet Fuel and Gasoline. Fuel products are transferred from Gore Bay Terminal via the existing pipeline to the Clyde Terminal in Rosehill where they are stored and distributed by road tankers across New South Wales. Gasoline is not stored at Gore Bay Terminal.
The Gore Bay Terminal operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
